1. Hold My Hand (Duo avec Akon)

Présentation :

Le titre avait été annoncé en 2008 sur le nouvel album à venir d'Akon, Freedom.
Cette chanson fut initialement écrite par le compositeur Claude Kelly, qui avait pensé celle ci comme un duo entre un homme et une femme. Claude Kelly avait un temps, imaginé que la chanteuse Whitney Houston pourrait l'interpréter. Mais à sa grande surprise c'est Michael Jackson qu'il entendu lorsque pour la première fois Akon lui fit écouter Hold my Hand.La démo de la chanson a fuité sur le net en 2008 basé sur une percussion et un piano. Pour la finalisé, Akon a ajouté une intro est bercé par les violons, une percussions puis percantes, des passages vocaux de Michael, un choeur de type gospel pour la fin de la musique. Le solo piano a été conservé pour la fin du titre. Akon et Michael ont fait appel à deux compositeurs en vogue : Claude Kelly qui a produit pour Britney Spears, Jason Derulo, Christina Aguilera ou encore Whitney Houston, et Giorgio Tuinfort le grand collaborateur de Akon qui a produit des titres aussi pour Gwen Stefani, Mario ou encore The Black Eyed Peas.Giorgio et akon sera appelé pour le remix de la chanson de "Ben" sur l'album de remix de la Motown paru en 2009.
