La chanson a été composé en 1998.Cette chanson avait été écrite pour le groupe J-Friends qui en avait fait un single sorti uniquement au Japon. Les paroles de la chanson avaient alors été écrites en japonais par Yasuchi Okimono et tous les bénéfices de ce disque furent reversés à une oeuvre de charité japonaise. Ce fut le second single de Michael Jackson offert au groupe J-Friends après "Children's Holiday" pour les victimes du tremblement de terre d'Hansin, au Japon.Kevin Dorsey a trvaillé avec le groupe Toto ou encore Aretha Franklin et Rick Astley. Dorsey a fait les choeurs sur l'album "Invincible" et "Bad".L'intro de l chanson est rtès ressemblante à des chansons comme "What More Can I Give" ou "Heal The World".Enfin, l'outro avec la voix de l'enfant est très ressemblante avec "Heal The World". D'ailleurs, le choeur est dirigé par Tom Bahler comme sur "Heal The World" et plus tard sur "Speechless".Le choeur entre à partir du deuxiéme refrain. Pour le final avec les enfants, ces enfants parlent en japonais et en anglais.
