"Joy" a été laissé au stade de démo par Michael Jackson pendant les sessions de l'album "Dangerous".Riley demanda à Michael l'autorisation pour l'utiliser avec son groupe Blackstreet, et Michael accepta. La chanson sorta en single en mars 1995 et figura sur l'album "Blackstreet" en 1994.La single se classa 43e dans les charts américains.Le saxophone Mike Phillips a travaillé sur la chanson "Behind The Mask" paru sur l'album "Michael" en 2010.Tammy Lucas est un chanteuse qui fait partie de l'équipe de Teddy Riley qui a chanté sur le titre "Is It Good to You" de Teddy Riley en 1992 ou encore "Tell Me How You Feel" de Wreckx-N-Effect.En plus, de l'écriture de "Joy", elle a également écrit "Tonight's The Night" pour ce même groupe.
