Présentation :
Kevin Roberson est un compositeur-bassiste, fidéle associé de Babyface sur les projets de After T ou encore On The Edge. Daryl Simmons est un clavierste-programmeteur lui aussi membre de l'équipe de Babyface et de Teddy Riley, mais qui a travaillé aussi avec Run DMC pendant les années 80. La démo est bercé par les synthé "puissant" et omniprésent. Daryl Simmons utilise un Yamaha 9000 Pro comme clavier.Pour les paroles : dans la relation que Jackson décrit de manière très détaillée, la femme est opprimée. L'homme est clairement profite d'elle. Son patron l'oblige à faire des choses pour ne pas perdre son emploi. Cette femme trvaille dur pour pouvoir mettre ses enfants à l'école mais son mari ne le voit pas et elle est aussi esclave de ce mari insatisfait mais elle va devoir prendre une décision car elle peut pas vivre eternellement dans cette situation.
La piste a été déjà retravaillé par Tricky Stewart pour leprojet "Michael" en 2010 et re-retravaillé par Timbaland en 2013 pour l'album "Xscape". La collaboration entre les producteurs Babyace et L.A Reid a été à l'origine d'un conflit entre Michael et son frère Jermaine qui lui préparer son nouvel album. Les producteurs ont été plus préoccupés pour leur projet avec Michael et on annulait des sessios avec Jermaine et celà a vexé Jermaine. Face à cette situation, Jermaine ecriva ""Word To The Badd" avec des propos pas très sympathique envers Michael. Jeramine affirmait que Michael reniait sa famille alors que celui-ci se protéger des pressions de celle-ci car le père de la famille Jackson ainsi que les frères souhaitaient que Michael participe à un projet du style "Victory 2".
