Bernard Belle, né le 12 novembre 1964 à Englewood dans le New Jersey, est un auteur compositeur chanteur américain de R&B qui était membre de la Motown à partir du milieu des années 80 avant de quitter ce label quand il a rejoint Teddy Riley en 1986 avec qui il participa au succés du NewJack Swing et d'y revenir en 2002. Bernard Belle joue de la basse, de la guitare et du claviers, sans oublié qu'il était capable d'être arrangeur et arrangeur et programmeur.
Bernard a produit des chansons The Winans, Ghetto Classic, Fame,Hi-Five,Guy,Bobby Brown (notamment son duo avec Whitney Houston "Something In Common ♪ ","Two Can Play That Game ♪ " ou "Get Away ♪ "),Morris Day,Riff,Today et Michael Jackson pour les titres "Remember the Time ♪ ","Privacy" ou "Why You Wanna Trip on Me".
Bernard a construit la carrière musical de sa soeur Regina Belle en lui faisant pas mal de titres et lui présentant de nombreux producteurs. Belle joua également de la guitare pour le groupe The Manhattans.
Bernard joua pour des groupes de gospels avec Donnie McClurkin, Shirley Caesar, Richard Smallwood, Marvin Sapp, Fred Hammond, Yolanda Adams, Tye Tribbett, Mary Mary, Kirk Franklin, Donald Lawrence, Smokie Norful, Hezekiah Walker et BeBe & CeCe Winans entre 1994 et 2002.
Bernard a participé à deux albums de Michael Jackson en collaborant à la création de titres sur Dangerous et sur la finalisation de Privacy sur Invincible.
A son palmarès, on peut noté qu'il a gagné 4 Grammy, un American Music Awards, deux Soul Train et de nombreux ASCAP Awards et Stella et GMA Awards.
