Elliot Straite plus connu sous le pseudonyme de Dr. Freeze, est un chanteur Americain, auteur et producteur. Ses chansons sont purement inspiré du style New Jack dont sa principal inspriration fut Teddy Riley, par exemple, il a écrit et composé le hit "I Wanna Sex You Up" pour le groupe R&B Color Me Badd aet a co-écrit et co-produit Break Of Dawn de Michael Jackson dans l'album Invincible.
