Tom Bahler est né le 1 juin 1943 à Inglewood en Californie qui est le père de John Bahler, également dans la musique. Tom Bahler suis une compositeur, auteur, chanteur, producteur, arrangeur, un dirigeant de création de nationalité americaine qui vit en Californie "thankyou" est son mot préféré.

Tom Bahler a travaillé dans la Production de Musique sur les émissions de télévision comme The Mac Davis Show et The 1997 Miss Teen USA Pageant et les films en incluant The Color Purple en 1985,Phantom of the Paradise en 1974,Gordy en 1995,New Deal en 1985,The Wiz en 1978 et Slugger's Wife

Tom Bahler est l'auteur du magnifique "She's Out of my Life" de Michael Jackson. Mais il a collaboré également avec Billy Joel,Georges Benson,Quincy Jones,Bobby Sherman,The Don,Cher ou encore Leif Garrett.
