Michael Rubini est un pianiste,un joueur de synthétiseurs,un producteur et un arrangeur américain.

Dans son enfance,Michael a été un pianiste de classique et il a commencé sa carriere en collaborant avec son pere Jan Rubini.Ensuite,à partir des années 60,Michael va faire le tour des studios et va travaillé avec Ray Charles,Michael Jackson,Cher,Frank Zappa,Frank Sinatra,Quincy Jones ou encore Barbra Streisand.

Rubini a été arrangeur et producteur chez la Motown.

Dans les années 80,Michael va participé les musiques de films comme "The Hunger", "The New Kids", "Band Of The Hand", "Manhunter" et "Nemesis".

Michael a collaboré avec Michael Jackson sur le titre "Smooth Criminal".
