Michael a été superviseur audio pour le film This Is It.
Au début de sa carrière en 1976, Michael était membre du groupe rock Legs Diamond avec le chanteur John Levesque, le guitariste Roger Romeo, le bassiste Adam Kury et Jeff Poole le batteur.
