Ollie Eugene Brown est un percussioniste et producteur américain très prolifique sur une centaine d'album des années 70 aux années 90. Ollie faisait partie du duo pop-dance Ollie & Jerry qui ont obtenu un Top 10 avec la chanson "There's No Stopping Us" en 1984 pour la B.O "Breakin'". Il est l'ami d'enfance Ray Parker Jr.
Brown est né en 1952 à Detroit dans le Michigan.Ollie figure sur les albums : "I Can Stand a Little Rain" par Joe Cocker, "1990" et "A Song for You" de The Temptations, "It's My Pleasure" de Billy Preston, "Black and Blue" de The Rolling Stones ou encore "Bad" de Michael Jackson. Dans les années 70, Brown a aussi enregistré sur les albums de Diana Ross, Van Morrison, Leo Sayer, ou encore Sly and the Family Stone.Ollie a également fait partie de la tournée de The Rolling Stones durant les années 70.Dans les années 80, il va collaboré avec Blondie,Quincy Jones,DeBarge et The Jacksons.Enfin dans les années 90, Ollie collabora notamment avec Stevie Wonder et Paul Jackson Jr.
Ollie a participé à la bande originale du film "Grease" et "Breakin'".
Ollie a collaboré avec Michael sur l'album "Bad" et avec les Jacksons sur l'album "Triumph".
